OVERVIEW OF THE COURSE STRUCTURE

COURSE STRUCTURE

All course structure is prepared by WEHO panel, your course is made up of lessons, each lesson containing a number of units. Each unit informs you what its aims are, and the main topics. Included as guidance on study techniques and course activities are self-assessment test papers with answers. You can progress on to the next grade course only after you have successfully completed the    previous one.

 

ASSIGNMENT

As your confidence and ability improves through assessing your own work, you will have proof of your success with your assignments. Assignments questions are at the end of each unit, which should be completed when you have finished the lesson and send to your tutor for assessment and feedback. Satisfactory completion of the lessons will result in a certificate being awarded.

 

OVERSEAS STUDENT

 Overseas student examinations are conducted by WEHO in their centre arranged by WEHO. If WEHO centre is not available or the students unable to attend, the examination can be submitted in the form thesis. The term "thesis" means a detailed essay written as a part of the theory on the subject to fulfil the requirement of examination. The institute decide whether the student may   qualify for the course or not.

 

EXAMINATION

WEHO has prepared examination papers on the different courses based upon university style home study pattern. There are three categories of examination:

 

1. Anatomy & Physiology and Pathology & Disease

Home based examination; design as an objective type paper approximately 2 hours.

 

2. CPSHom Student

Student examinations are always at an appropriate centre organised by WEHO. The duration of the exam is 3 hours.

 

3. Introduction Certificate course

Objective type paper

 

4. Diploma Student

Examinations are held in WEHO centres. Each paper has 3-hour duration  for each subject.  If a WEHO centre is not available then students must submit the thesis. A practical examination is also taken with attached clinical facilities. 

 

6. Post Graduate student

Student must always submit the thesis as described.

 

CRETERIA FOR THE PRACTICAL OR CLINICAL CLASSES

  • Each course student attendance should be more than 80% when WEHO arrange the monthly classes for practical.
  • A letter from the attached practitioner confirm the student has successfully completed 160 hours practical.
  • Ten case histories
  • Participation/seminar. Each student will be expected to contribute to and participate in class discussions, and to make at least two seminar presentations based on selected reading assignments.
  • Final oral exam - A short oral exam based on the required reading, seminars presentations, and individual research will be required at the end of the course. 

THESIS

 It must be typewritten on A4 paper [as using one side only] with student number including name, address and subject.

Thesis length should be 5,000 words and would cover all the major   topics of the subject including the philosophy of Electro Homoeopathy in their own words. 

The Thesis must show that the student has a full knowledge and  understanding of the subjects.

Examples of experiences and personal opinions should be included. All references must be listed.

 

Note – if there is a facility available where examination can be taken via/using electronic media, as on-line, WEHO receive and marks an examination on line.

 

INSURANCE SCHEME

The WEHO Insurance scheme offered through H & L Balen & Company provides Public liability/Malpractice /Product liability covers for all practising graduate of WEHO. The scheme presently covers all graduates practising in the United Kingdom. [contact WEHO for Full details of Insurance].

 

NON-EXAMINATION STUDENTS

It is possible for students, not wishing to become Practitioner and to do the course without taking an examination. They will not receive a Diploma, they can only be eligible to become a non-practising Member of WEHO.

 

Certification
the successful completion of a course are for certification and do not constitute a licence to practice. It is the responsibility of the student to inquire and to adhere to local laws and regulations.

 

AWARDS

To distribute prizes grants awards to the learned tutor’s researcher, scholars, practitioners and students for their work as well as other WEHO members who will give better services to the organisation.

 

SCHOLARSHIPS/CHARITY LOAN/GRANTS

The WEHO offers several scholarships, to visually impaired and disabled     students residing in the United Kingdom. Applications, with a supporting letter from a physician, should be sent to the Registrar (UK). WEHO make charitable donations towards education and research as long as vivisection is not involved. WEHO also financially supports hospitals/colleges/association of  Spagyric  Homoeopathy. (Apply separately to the Registrar of WEHO).
